More About Billy Bob Thornton
Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas to a psychic and educator, Billy Bob Thornton began his career in entertainment as a singer and drummer in the band, Tres Hombres. In pursuit of an acting career, Thronton moved to Los Angeles in 1981. He began to write movie scripts with his childhood friend Tom Epperson, to no avail. However, the writing duo began to gain some attention after Billy Bob starred in the film "One False Move" in 1992.
In 2003 and 2002, Billy Bob Thornton starred in the following movies: Bad Santa, Love Actually, Intolerable Cruelty, Levity and Waking Up in Reno. Thorton also starred opposite Academy Award winner Halle Berry in Monster's Ball in 2001. In 2001, Billy Bob Thornton also appeared in Bandits, Daddy and Them and The Man Who Wasn't There. Thornton has given memorable performances in such films as U Turn, Sling Blade and A Simple Plan. And, you can expect to see Billy Bob Thornton on screens again in 2004 with: Chrystal, The Alamo and The Swedish Job.
